Questions
About the trial, paying, cancelling and your data.
Why do you need my card for a free trial?
So the app keeps working without a break when the trial ends. Nothing is charged for 14 days, and if you cancel before then, nothing is charged at all.
When will I be charged?
On day 15, then every month or every year after that, depending on your plan. Stripe emails you a receipt each time.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Manage billing → Cancel. It takes a few seconds, and you keep using the app until the end of the time you've paid for.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays in your account. If you subscribe again later, everything is where you left it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Delete account removes your account, everything you've logged and every file you've uploaded, straight away, and cancels your subscription so nothing more is charged. Download your data first if you want to keep it.
Is my data private?
Yes. Every account has its own separate database, kept apart from everyone else's. There are no ads or tracking scripts, and your data is never sold or shared. The only thing ever sent to anyone else is a log's location and time to a weather service, and only if you turn weather on in Settings.
Who handles my payment?
Stripe, which powers payments for millions of businesses. You enter your card on Stripe's own page; it never reaches our servers.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Only the price. Yearly works out at 2 months free. Every plan includes everything.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any time, even after you stop paying. Settings → Your data downloads everything you've entered as a single SQLite database file, which opens in any SQLite tool without this app. Every report also downloads as CSV, one at a time or all together. Photos and files you've attached download from wherever they're attached.
Can I use it with Claude, or my own scripts?
Yes. Add it as a connector in Claude (or any AI assistant that supports MCP) and sign in, to ask about your data and log things in plain words: "log a coffee", "when did I last change the oil?". There's a REST API for your own programs too. Neither can delete anything.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in your phone's browser, sized for a small screen, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
What can I track?
Anything that happens at a time: coffee, runs, medication, oil changes, a headache. And anything you keep: cars, guitars, bikes, the house. You decide the kinds and the fields; nothing is fixed.
